WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Every 2nd Sunday night at 6pm, Evangel offers an evening just for the ladies. 

 

The format may differ but usually involves refreshment or a meal, a great time fellowship and most times a short encouraging, and inspiring biblical teaching from well unknown national and international speakers!

A couple times a year we put together a “Ladies Night Out” and take in a good movie or offer a time of a meal and enjoying each other company around the pool/hot tub.  We always endeavor to encourage, build up and help each other grow in the Lord.

 

The ladies head up a ministry of meals to those recovering from surgeries or other setbacks.   We coordinate various types of luncheons and meals for different church functions.

Every year we give into an overseas mission project such as, a ministry to help widows in Benin learn small business skills and purchase supplies to become financially self-sufficient.  Or, gifts to the Children’s Dream Center in the Philippians to help the orphans Missionary Ruth Clark ministers to.

​

Each year we sponsor at least one local family and supply a Thanksgiving meal and Christmas presents for the children.

 

This just scratches the surface of what these ladies are all about!
